Guru Janmostava:Celebrating the majesty of the Divine Guru ( 30rd September )

In the cool, peaceful evening of 30th September, followers gathered at Namitaji’s house to celebrate the birth anniversary of The Great Guru Yogiraj.
The flow of bhakti started with the divine Guru Vandana led by Aparnaji, followed by vibrant Dhunachi dance by Shivi Shah as an a reminder of Devi Shakti in Navratri.
Sushma Agarwal portrayed the significance of meeting your Guru through her beautiful bhajans, and Vedanshi Nevatia sang the longing of a Sadhak “Hey Prabhu mujhe bata do”.
The highlight of the evening was “Guru Vachan” by Aparnaji. In a mesmerising speech, she talked about the infinite greatness of that Guru who is but an energy form of God Himself. Through words like honey that pierced like fire, she told incidents from Yogiraj’s life that portrayed the ultimate Guru-Shishya relationship born out of the sole desire to meet God. All eyes were moist and red by the end. He is indeed The Great Guru!
This was followed by a string of bhajans by Mr Anoop Keswani, taking the audience on a journey of bhakti, divinity and peace. It was indeed a heavenly evening.
